Series 5 Completed - With an additional bonus

Yay! Today I finally completed my Lego Mini-Figure Series 5 collection, again with HUGE thanks to Ali, who sent me one of her swapsies.... the elusive (to me) Eskimo Fisherman. I was so excited when she said she had found a second one, just for me.

But I was even more excited when a parcel too big for just a mini-fig arrived. I quickly tore it open to find a Lego Mini Kit - the Republic Attack Cruiser (30053). Oh my.... I couldn't believe my eyes.

Within seconds I was sat cross legged on the floor building it. It was awesome. Thank you Ali. Thank you Amy. You are both so generous. :-)

Bernard

Today the Mini Fig that I wanted most desperately (from Series 5) arrived courtesy of Ali and Amy.

He was the one that I just couldn't find myself, despite hours of fondling Lego bags in the Local toy shop, in Tescos and in WHSmiths.  I just couldn't find him.

But now he's here. Meet Bernard the Lizard Boy.

Not content with spoiling me with Bernard, the pair also sent me some super Lego SW Mini-Fig sticker books. Thanks girls, you are ace.

A special birthday guest.

For my birthday I was very happy to find that a very special Han Solo arrived to help me celebrate. Look at that wonderous medal he is wearing.

He came with a lovely DK Encylopedia of Star Wars Lego Characters - he's so generous. ;-)

A re-found Lego Love

I appear to have re-caught the Lego bug today today as I spent the day building lots more of my childhood Lego, including my childhood fave, my trainset.

The joy of Lego continues

Today, after a visit from our good friends I was inspired to get my case of Childhood Lego out.  I kinda introduced Ali to the joy of Lego during their recent visits and her giddiness rubbed off on me.

So today I spent a happy few hours rummaging through my Lego case and building up some of my construction workers.

Tomorrow, I will probably make a start on the train, because it is a little bit addictive and for the last few years, this was something I seemed to have forgotten.
