Lego Advent - Day 8

Behind the window of the Star Wars calender was the Vulture Droid which is quite nice.... again it is really obvious what it is, but its not very exciting.  Maybe it's just because I am really feeling that there has definitely been a bias towards the "prequels" so far...

.... Fingers crossed for some more figures and builds from the original trilogy to follow.

Lego Advent - Day 7

Today was an interesting day in the Advent Calenders. I was convinced the City one would give me a little ski set for the lad that arrived yesterday - as he has a helmet on... but instead out popped the oddest little thing I ever did see.

Lego Advent - Day 6

Hmmmm... after yesterdays pretty disappointing hoard... what would be behind Door Six?

Woopeee.... I wasn't disappointed with the City Treat ... it was a cute lil' Minifig.

Lego Advent - Day 5

Day 5 was very disappointing in the Star Wars Advent Calender. It is a micro MTT. It is pretty obvious what it is meant to be but it really is quite pitiful - so much so that I can not be bothered to take its pic.

Lego Advent - Day 4

Today I wasn't sure what to expect behind each little door? Would there be any more MiniFigs? I was excited.

First to be opened was the City one. Huh? What a pathetic treat.....

Lego Advent - Day 2

Woop. Another day - another 2 windows to open!

First up was the Star Wars one... surely today I would get a MiniFigure. Out popped a Gungan soldier. Despite hating JarJar and his friends when Ep I was released, I actually do like the Lego Gungan MiniFigs, so I was a happy bunny indeed.

Then it was on to the City Calender.... Hmmm... today's item was a tad "interesting."  It was a Lego Chainsaw and a few bits to make a log.  Not the most Christmassy of items but it did make for a nice little photo op when the Gungan Guard got hold of it....

Lego Advent - Day 1

December 1st... time to open my fabulous Lego Advent calenders.

I quickly opened the City Calender! Yay! A splendid new Fireman MiniFigure!

Birthday Bonanza

It was my birthday last week and what could else would any other 30something girl love more than a wee bit of Lego.

And what a haul I got. Mikey really spoilt me.

Pre Birthday Gifts

As is the norm for these such occasions, Mikey gave me a few pre-Birthday gifts. The first one came the week before my birthday. This was a super pressie indeed but as it was non-Lego related I will spare you the details. (It was a toy though, so maybe you might want to know.)

Anyway, 2 days before my birthday came the next pre-Birthday gift .... the Mandorian Battle Pack (7914)
